Many of my hats have a coordinating scarf or neck warmer. These are wet felted, nuno felted silk, hand painted, or a combination of the different techniques.
The embellishments are 100% natural; including yarns, silks, bamboo, cotton, wool curls, etc. I love color and lots of texture on my projects. Color and texture makes them fun to wear and "show stoppers." They are truly one of a kind.
I am inspired by the beauty that surrounds me; from a foggy winter morning with ice sparkling on my big, old maple tree, to a single coneflower peeking up alongside my porch, to my little dog, "Stewart." There is beauty and inspiration everywhere; you just have to take the time to notice it.
